Tech Consultant IT

You'll be joining a Dutch software company that has spent more than twenty years building the systems law firms, notarial offices and corporate legal teams run on every day. Their software sits in hundreds of practices, which means an outage doesn't just annoy people, it stops legal work in its tracks. You come in as the Azure and hosting specialist whose job is to make sure that doesn't happen.

You'll manage, optimise and secure the Azure environments that host both the company's own applications and its clients' ERP systems. Alongside that you'll advise clients and colleagues on technical setup, migration tracks and the hosting questions that come with them. Third-line incidents that nobody else can crack land on your desk, and it's on you to stop them coming back.

The organisation is flat and the team is around thirty people, so a proposal to improve the cloud architecture gets picked up and acted on rather than parked in a committee. There are two offices, one in Zuid-Holland and one in Noord-Brabant, and there's the option to work from home.

## Requirements

You bring solid, demonstrable experience as a technical consultant, cloud engineer or something close to it. You know Microsoft Azure in depth and have designed and managed environments yourself. You've worked on the hosting, performance tuning and technical management of ERP systems.

You can take on third-line incidents and then make sure they don't come back. You explain complex cloud and hosting choices clearly to people who aren't engineers. You work independently and you enjoy the client contact that comes with the role.

You have an HBO level of education and thinking. You're available for at least 32 hours a week and you hold a driving licence.
