Projectmanager IT
About the Role
You'll join an established IT consultancy in the north of the Netherlands as a senior project manager owning ICT projects end-to-end at client organisations. The work mix leans toward substantial programmes: workplace migrations, infrastructure migrations, cloud migrations, and security tracks at corporate and (semi-)public-sector clients. You take a project from intake and planning through to delivery, evaluation, and aftercare — scope, planning, budget, and quality all sit on your shoulders. The clients are mid-size to large organisations across Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe, where stakeholder management and clear communication make the real difference. You'll lead the project team, while the technical specialists handle the depth, so your job is to make sure the project stands up as a whole. Short communication lines and a no-nonsense mentality are part of the culture, so decisions don't get stuck in committees. If you're a confident PM who's delivered real ICT migrations and you want autonomy and end-to-end ownership at visible clients, this fits.
- You have at least five years of demonstrable project management experience, much of it on ICT projects.
- You bring HBO-level work and thinking ability.
- You're confident leading workplace, infrastructure, cloud, or security migrations.
- You manage stakeholders comfortably at strategic, tactical, and operational levels.
- You communicate clearly in writing and presentation, from board to engineer.
- Experience with corporate or (semi-)public-sector clients is a strong plus.
- A project management certification (Prince2, IPMA, Agile/Scrum, or PMP) is a strong plus.
- You're based in or willing to work across the three northern provinces.
- You speak Dutch at a professional level, as the client work requires it.
