Medior Workplace Engineer
About the Role
As a Medior Workplace Engineer, you are the driving force behind modern Microsoft workplace environments at organisations across the Noord-Nederland region. You split your time between the office and client locations in Groningen, Friesland, and Drenthe — no two days are the same. You make sure users can work without interruption, while behind the scenes you build secure, stable, and future-proof IT workplaces.
From Microsoft 365 and Intune to Azure and security: you see the full picture and think ahead. Beyond your technical responsibilities, you are a genuine sparring partner for colleagues and clients alike — equally comfortable with technical depth and clear communication, whether you're talking to an IT manager or an end user.

- At least 3 years of experience in IT, with a focus on workplace management or workplace engineering
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Modern Workplace
- Hands-on experience with Intune (Microsoft Endpoint Manager / MDM)
- Understanding of security within Microsoft environments
- Driving licence (B) and willingness to work on-site at client locations in Noord-Nederland
- Experience in an IT consultancy or managed services environment
- A proactive mindset when it comes to innovation and workplace improvement
- Experience working in a project-based setting: analyses, implementations, and improvement programmes
